401(k) Pension Programs

Description of 401(k) Coverage

A 401(k) pension plan is an elective retirement plan. The employees make tax deductible contributions that grow in tax-deferred investment accounts. The company has the option of making a matching contribution on behalf of the employee. By adopting a 401(k) plan, an employer provides his employees with a way to:

  • Reduce taxable income
  • Establish a retirement account
  • Enable retirement savings to grow on a tax-deferred basis
  • Tailor the fund investments to individual goals

Gordon Analytic will design 401(k) pension programs for clients who have a wide range of interests. Our financial advisors work with pension carriers that offer simple, inexpensive plans to make your retirement planning worry free. For those companies that demand specific mutual funds, we will produce a plan to match their investment needs. We review and recommend pension companies with strong administrative capabilities and solid investements.

Professional Money Management

Introducing a new plan necessitates educating the employees about the tax ramifications of the plan and the investment options. Ordinarily, those who sell pension plans will hold a general seminar and present investment brochures for the employees to read. The salespeople expect the employees to digest all of the information and then design a proper investment portfolio.
After the pension company has distributed its literature to the employees to study, we recommend that the employer post a sign-up sheet for those employees who want more detailed information about the retirement investments and/or portfolio strategy.

At Gordon Analytic our retirement services team is available to meet with each employee to discuss the details of the investments, and to construct an individualized retirement portfolio. We talk about individual retirement accounts, 401k tips, top mutual funds, simple and roth IRA’s as well retirement planning. Gordon Analytic will design an asset allocation plan for each employee who requests this service for which there is no additional charge.

Mutual Fund Research

Because employees are being asked to invest money from their paychecks into a long-term savings plan, it is important that the investments have a solid track record of performance. Gordon Analytic mandates that the pension company present the financial results of each investment for the life of the fund. Furthermore, Gordon Analytic subscribes to the Value Line Mutual Fund Survey, a research service that provides historical data on most mutual funds. This helps us make safe investing recommendations on the best mutual funds with confidence.
