Gordon Analytic is an independent employee benefits brokerage firm. We help navigate the health insurance, employee benefits, and retirement planning challenges associated with running a successful business.

Our knowledgable insurance consultants and counselors conduct comprehensive, objective research to establish a customized insurance and employee benefits packages for clients and their employees. This may include a description of benefits, financial due diligence and references for health insurance, life insurance disability insurance, and/or dental insurance. It may also include retirement planning recommendations such as 401k plans and mutual funds.

Once an employment benefits plan is in place, Gordon Analytic assists with administrative issues regarding each plan. Questions about billing statements, enrollments, enrollment matters receive immediate attention followed by a rapid response from our customer service team.

We research competitive group health options so that our Massachusettes, New Hamphire and Rhode Island clients have affordable health insurance options upon each renewal.

Gordon Analytic employee benefit services

COBRA : Our third party administrator will notify COBRA eligible beneficiaries by certified mail. In addition, the administrator will collect premiums and remit payment to the client. We are fully compliant with new Department of Labor regulations.

Flex spending accounts (Section 125 cafeteria plans) : Our administrator can set up a plan to deduct premiums on a pre-tax basis. We can also set up medical reimbursement accounts for expenses not covered by your medical and/or dental plans.
All of our plans feature MasterCard debit cards to eliminate the requirement for paper claims.

Health insurance ideas : Financial analysis of health insurance plans. Our financial models will tell you if a high deductible, a high copayment, or an H.S.A. (health savings account) plan makes financial sense for your company and for the employees. We administer H.R.A. (Health reimbursement account) plans at no cost

Human Resources Compliance : We have human resources consultants who can handle a wide range of tasks from reviewing Employee Handbooks, writing FMLA policies, designing HIPAA procedures, all the way to reviewing the entire human resources department. In addition we collect the information to prepare the 5500 for the accountants, and we can prepare the Summary Plan Description.

Service : If you have an administrative or claim issue you should notify our office. Each account has a dedicated customer service manager who will attend to the matter within 24 hours. Proactively we call you every 2 months to check on the status of any claims for billing issues. In addition, we set a mid-year meeting to explain market and product trends, and to get some ideas to prepare for the imminent renewal.

Renewals / product updates : Gordon Analytic prepares the case for renewal up to 4 months in advance of the anniversary date. We meet with our clients to review plan designs and the quality of vendor service. We put our clients in a position to make a sound decision rather than react to a notice.

Enrollment : Gordon Analytic will set up annual health fairs, question & answer sessions for employees, and group enrollment meetings. These forums give employees the opportunity to reduce any anxiety about signing up for a new plan. In addition, employees receive information on benefit updates. We set up timelines for the establishment and enrollment of H.S.A. plans

Retirement plans : 1.) Introducing a new plan. Gordon Analytic sets up employee meetings to discuss the benefits of a 401-k plan, 2.) Annual meetings to update employees on the investment performance of the retirement plan funds. We are available to discuss the plan with new hires. 3.) Employees talk to an investment analyst to help build/review their investment portfolios
